Hello, I’m Jeff Pickering. I envisioned Penny Lane Financial, LLC as a company where I could better serve my clients by offering a diverse range of financial services. My goal was to create a space where people can openly discuss and learn about complex issues related to retirement, wealth preservation, insurance, and lending. After 30 years in sales, finance, and management, I decided to embark on my own business journey and quickly advanced in the financial services industry.

About Me

I live in Tacoma with my wife, Christine, where we have raised two accomplished daughters. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, barbecuing, golf, woodworking, and walking with our dog, Baxter.

As the President and owner of Penny Lane Financial, LLC, I take a fiduciary responsibility to recommend what is best for each client, including referring them to other professionals when necessary. My friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge have enabled me to assist people with their finances while building lasting relationships.

Educational Background

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and am trained as a Wealthy and Wise© advisor. Additionally, I am a WA Designated Broker (Mortgage) and have obtained multiple state licenses in life, property, casualty, and lending. I previously served on the board of Bates Technical College and participated on the Pierce County Goodwill Board of Directors. I am also an active member of the The Fircrest Golf Club.
